Al Bustan Festival partnered with SEPT to reduce its carbon footprint.
About 150 volunteers including a group of 25 physically challenged inclusion activists planted 350 seedlings of Abies, Juniperus and Cedars in Bouarej-Bekaa Valley.

UK Embassy Carbon Footprint Offset Initiative – Barouk-Deir El Kamar – 10 October 2013
SEPT has been preaching bureaucracies, administrations, institutions and large companies to assume their Carbon Footprint Responsibilities.
HME took the initiative of setting the example to offset her Majesty the Queen’s Birthday Party’s environmental impact through hand planting 350 endemic trees in Barouk with SEPT, with the active participation of his Excellency the Ambassador.
